Even though the progress has been made in Thailand, in terms of reducing HIV/AIDS infection rate, comprehensive care and support packages for PLHIV, MSM and TG who live with HIV are still vulnerable to stigma and discrimination from their families, community and the society.

Health care services are not very friendly to MSM and TG positives, because of their gender identity and practices. Moreover most MSM positive are in self-denial of their HIV status, which hinders their access to treatment, care and support services. Resulting in morbidity and mortality.

To address stigma and discrimination against MSM living with HIV and to promote more access to treatment for this group, more opportunities should be given to people on the ground like myself who has long being an activist who want to see changes in MSM positive work in Thailand. So I would like to join this capacity building leadership program.

คนทางาน MSM+ ใหมประสทธภาพมากยงขน เพอใหเกดแนวทาง/วิธการทางานดานการดแลและสนบสนน MSM+ การพฒนาระบบบรการดาน

To develop a technical support mechanism for MSM positive organization or groups in China Mai, Pa Yao, and the provinces in upper north of Thailand. And also encourage for the MSM positive network to happen. Mainly for information sharing purpose and to advocate for better access for MSM and TG positive to treatment, care and support services at national and regional level.
